Over the span of 16 tracks, Ronnie Day covers the dissolving of a three-year relationship with his first and only girlfriend, Jamie. Hailing from Northern California, Ronnie managed to build a massive fan base through the internet and by word of mouth. In the months following his ex-girlfriend's betrayal, Ronnie explains, "I start to lose touch with myself, and while everything around me seems to be conflicting, I struggle to find my own truth through music." Produced in a dark Los Angeles studio, in an even darker period of his life, The Album is an assimilation of musical expression.
