The Thrillseekers tour grapevine has been further greased this week with news that this summer’s gigs may feature notable Thrillseekers tribute act, The Bootleg Thrillseekers.

Playing the warm-up slot, the DJ doppelganger & self-proclaimed “Spinning Image” will be mixing-up Steve’s favourite tracks and remixes from gigs gone by.

When quizzed as to whether this was just a con in order to get promoters to pay twice for the same DJ, Steve said “no”, going on to comment
“ of course not”.

Steve Helstrip has been at the very forefront of the world's dance scene for over 6 years now. From his breakout hit 'Synaesthesia', through to the anthems 'Dreaming of You' and most recently 'By Your Side', he has continued to produce a powerhouse of the most emotive, evocative music going.

He has remixed for luminaries such as Tiesto, Timo Maas, Sonique and Chicane, lending them all his trademark melodic/ euphoric sound.

Back Of The Van is the first track Pip wrote as Ladyhawke back in late 2006. Pip played every instrument on the track, which was produced by Van She’s Michael Di Francesco aka The Marrickville D-Train aka M-Dizzy.

Following on from the original version of the track being available today, a Back Of The Van on April 28 featuring the original and remixes by Van She Tech, Fred Falke and Mock And Toof, with the original and mixes being available from your trusty digital outlets from the same day.

Hot on the heels. Maybe in love, but surely with the success of her first album, the waiting Room
(more than 10 000 copies to this day, we sure can be proud and thankful for that).

Now, comes Chloe's new single!
"Be Kind to Me".

One of the dancing in the dark highlights (contradiction fully assumed) track, Be Kind to Me is given the full treatment by two of Kill the DJ fave artists : rework and krikor.

Of course there is a kindred spirit between us and Frankfurt's kingdom Playhouse: Robert johnson is the best club in the world, Chloe's remix of Rework's Love loveYeah was a hit for us and others and we are pretty happy with the answer this amazing band has sent us back. wrapping up the moody essence of the original with their own breed of analogue electro.

This is a classic... rework.
as we share our HQ with Krikor, it was natural that he would get his dirty hands on Chloe's track. If Chloe's request is to be kind, Krikor's delivery is indeed a Mean Dub making a rough and ready use of his own brand of compression/distortion.
A dark but brilliant boogie excursion...
