Sigur Ros In A Frozen Sea

A new book titled In A Frozen Sea: A Year with Sigur Ros follows the band through their native Iceland on the last leg of the 2006 Takk tour. The 32-page book comes encased in a 12" vinyl jacket and features photography of both the band and the Icelandic landscape.

The book is available to order on June 1st at ainr.com There will be 5,000 limited edition vinyl album collections. This special edition run contains In a Frozen Sea, as well as three of Sigur Ros' 12" LP’s including Agaetis Byrjun, ( ), Takk and Smaskifa.

Interpol have announced a summer tour. The trek will coincide with the released of their third album, Our Love To Admire, which will be released July 10th and is their first album on Capitol Records. Support will come from New York-based trio Calla who released their fifth album, Strength In Numbers, in February via Beggars Banquet. Interpol will play European shows in June-July followed by Asia and the UK in August.

Portishead

Portishead will perform at and curate All Tomorrows Parties'
Nightmare Before Christmas this December.The Bristol three piecewill play their first full set featuring new material in nearly10 years at the event will
take place December 7-9 in Minehead,England. The first confirmed bands will be announced later this week.All tickets include a 3-day festival pass and 3 nights accommodation.
Performances start in the afternoon with around 50 acts set to play live across
the weekend. Butlins Holiday Camp is located on the coast and
is near the town of Glastonbury.
