Gang of Four lose two members

Legendary post-punk foursome Gang of Four have become a gang of two. Following their reunion in 2005, the momentum seemed to dwindle for bassist Dave Allen and drummer Hugo Burnham.

Although they are parting ways, singer Jon King and guitarist Andy Gill will continue writing and recording new music. The split was amicable and both parties encourage the other in their post- musical endeavors.
