Groove Armada will release a wicked double-punch AA-side single ‘Look Me In The Eye Sister/Just For Tonight’ on May 3rd

Both tracks feature guest vocals from Jess Larrabee of Brooklyn folk/blues duo She Keeps Bees, whom Groove Armada have yet to meet.

"We got really into her albums and started emailing tracks for her to add vocals,” says Andy.

"Her music usually has more of a White Stripes kind of vibe. She got really into the disco flavour and absolutely nailed it."

The release – available to buy digitally – also includes remixes of ‘Look Me In The Eye Sister’ by Urchins, Audiojack and Morten Sorensen.

Meet the crew of Skylab.

Welcome to deep space. Jay Epoch (founder of Proton Music, Particles and the director of Proton Radio) introduces Apollo, a music label dedicated to the exposure and development of a genre he likes to call space opera: deep house and deep techno. Skylab is its core.

At the beginning of each quarter, Apollo will launch a new installment of Skylab: a compilation/sampler series of various artists slated for Apollo releases in the coming months.

The crew of the first Skylab includes some Proton regulars showcasing their deeper wares: Monojoke, Artette, Evren Ulusoy, Ki.Mi., and Ucleden while introducing newcomers Combinator, Jorg Murcus, and Audioflakes.

Expect serious analog production, lush soundscapes, and melodies with visceral emotional content.
