Let's go deep: Thomas Melchior
Thomas Melchior is a fervent believer in the power of minimalism, but as RA's Andy Battaglia found out, that's not the only thing that the producer puts his faith in...

Any list of the most distinctive sonic stamps in dance music right now has to include the hi-hats of Thomas Melchior. Whether open and splashy or cinched with solemn resolve, they mark Melchior's best tracks as the work of a producer with a preternatural understanding of what makes house music work-especially when stretched across hypnotic lengths of time and minimized in more or less every fashion. Such an understanding has made Melchior a major figure within the movement of minimal techno toward the moods and modes of house, and it patently plays into the mystery of a sound that Melchior has spent a long time forging.

SUESSE Label boss Richard Colman returns to the mixing desk again with this progressive/electro House cut that has been supported by a wide range of DJs.
