Yoshitoshi is proud to present this double A-side release from U.K. up and coming phenom duos M.O.D.E. and Schadenfreude. Always keen to shine a light on fresh talent, Yoshitoshi continues to support quality rising artists. Ripe for a variety of sets and hours these tracks work differently yet appropriately in all scenarios.

The M.O.D.E. duo have been quietly producing a string of amazing productions featured on labels such as Renaissance, Bedrock, and Global Underground. Recently signing to Dave Seaman's Therapy Music team we can expect big things from M.O.D.E. starting with this dark brooding piece for Yoshitoshi, "Cobra".

Schadenfreude have only been working together for a year but they have already found a great sound for themselves. On "The Road Leads East" they offer up an eclectic production, tastefully fusing a handful of styles to create an atmospheric techno groove with subtle melodic elements.

Enjoy and stay tuned for phenomenal remixes from Meat Katie and Dyno on "The Road Leads East"

[DJ FEEDBACK]:

Steve Angello - "Like the Leads track"

John Acquaviva - "The Road Leads East is a solid track!"

Tom Findlay (Groove Armada) - "I like The Road Leads East, creates a great atmosphere"

Sander Kleinenberg - "The Road Leads East is cool!"

Glenn Morrison - "Thanks a lot for the Cobra record! What a mind trip this is!"

With Additional Massive Support From: Nick Warren, Robbie Rivera, Hernan Cattaneo, Secret Cinema, Behrouz, David Tort, Chus & Ceballos, Alex Kenji, Sultan, Chris Fortier, Chloe Harris, Jody Wisternoff, Tedd Paterson, Cirillo, Henry Saiz, Wally Lopez, Bad Boy Bill, Guy J, Desyn Masiello, Joseph Capriati, Miss Nine, Above & Beyond, Dave Seaman, Jerome Isma-ae, Simon Garcia, Tom Novy, Markus Schulz, Jim Rivers and 16 Bit Lolitas.

Coming soon on
Leaders of the New School label!

Receiving nominations for best Spanish DJ and tech-house producer by DJ1 and Deejay magazines, Sergio Fernandez debuts on Leaders Of The New School with a rip roar of an EP in ‘Jam Sax’.

Opening the EP, ‘Jam Sax’ is a vibrant slice of pure housey goodness. Based on pulsating grooves that march merrily alongside a warm undertone, this track makes no excuses for being unashamedly jolly.

The breakdown sees the introduction of a vivacious piano melody that sets the foundation for a frisky sax loop that oozes energy before dropping back into those marching grooves. A jazzy little number that can’t help but leave you with a smile on your face.

‘Game Over’ takes things a little deeper on more of a tech-house vibe. Crisp beats and a driving bass shift stealthily below pumping stabs that combine with sneaky vocal uhh’s to create a laid-back track perfect for any early DJ set, after party, or just listening to whilst sipping margaritas by the pool.

A great debut from Sergio Fernandez on Leaders Of The New School that looks set to establish him as a true talent in house music in 2010.
