One year in its creation & representing the first full album from Solarstone as a solo artist, 'Rain Stars Eternal' is the new 'year one' for founder member Rich Solar.

The album - released on the 12th of May - pushes the borders of Trance into Progressive & Chillout and yet further beyond. The brand, spanking new Solarstone Website is online now. Tracks from the album are available to preview there along with a multitude of other interactive elements!

Through tracks like 'Solarcoaster', 'Late Summer Fields', 'The Calling' & the Tiësto caned 'Like a Waterfall', Rich has delivered 10 straight years of club smashes.

His Top 40 hit 'Seven Cities' has sound-tracked tens of thousands of Balearic nights and was rated as the best trance record of the last 10 years in DJ Magazine.

Throughout that period Solarstone has raced through the production ranks, becoming synonymous with trance and succeeded in releasing nothing but the highest quality dance music.

April 2008 Update.

As we move into the summer months, here is a fresh update from Dj & Producer Niklas Harding

The Studio:
Niklas has been locked in the studio working on forthcoming remixes:

Marcus Schossow - 1985 (Niklas Harding Remix) is released on Social Sound Recordings in June and

Santiago Nino - Re-Charge (Niklas Harding Remix) is released on Relic Recordings mid July.

The talented prog trancer is working on a remix on Solarstone - Slave so keep your eyes peeled for this! Samples of 1985 and Re-Charge remixes can be found at the Niklas Harding Myspace.

The Gigs:
Last month Niklas visited Ukraine for a mini-tour with packed venues and banging sets in Khmelnitsky & Kiev as well as returning to his roots by playing the 5 year re-union party of the danish Futureclub events!

The Radio:
Harding is co-host of the popular Danish Radio NRJ's ‘Extravadance’ and has received good feedback over the last few months. The show is broadcasted every Saturday from 8-9pm (GMT+1) and will be aired through FM and netradio. The next 2 hour WestBronx show will be aired on ETN.fm on Thursday 1^st of May.

In the future Niklas Harding fans will be able to listen to the WestBronx show through Tillate & Vonyc's new radio cooperation every 2nd Friday of the month. The Nikki Haddi show is on air on DI.fm the 3rd Saturday of the month at 7pm (GMT+1)…. don’t miss it!

Now Sonar Kollektiv release an exclusive 12" vinyl release including three of the stand out tracks from the mix CD.
KAREN P started out on GILLES PETERSON's acclaimed Worldwide show. Since then she has established herself as one of the most up and coming entrepreneurs in the field of radio and internet broadcasting today.

She set up the Red Bull Music Academy's internet radio station and now has has her own forward thinking audio production company with clients such as: Fabric Club, The Big Chill Festival, Channel 4 Radio and Ninja Tune Records.

KAREN P has even set up a club night named after the ...broad casting series at Cargo in London.

Yousef launches Circus Recordings

Following the success of the Circus events and driven by a desire to get back in the studio and make music, Yousef (dj and Circus promoter) has launched Circus Recordings.

The first release on Circus Recordings is scheduled for May 5th 2008 and is a two track EP from the man himself – ‘Letter To No One’ and ‘Purple Rage’.

Between the two tracks they cover the current climate at Circus - forward thinking electronica and techno with house flavours and melodic hooks and are a perfect introduction to the dancefloor bombs to follow on this most exciting of new labels.

'This Boy's In Love' is a melancholy punch to the heart from The Presets, wistfully loaded with echoing piano keys, acid bassline and vocalist Julian Hamilton's up til now unheard falsetto.

Remixes of 'This Boy's In Love' come courtesy of Finnish electro-trance master Jori Hulkkonen, Zombie Nation, Lifelike and an edit by The Presets' K.I.M himself.

The video was directed by newcomer, Casper Balslev and if you like young boys wrestling around shirtless in milk, the this one's for you!

Pole Folder's Radio 101 EP gets remixed...

Pole Folder's two track EP out earlier this year is now revisited on Proton Music with 4 new remixes.

Represented here is the future sound of progressive house.
Upcoming stars Cbass & Mikobene, Francesco Pico, and Human Adams come to Proton Music for the first time alongside returning label artist Stuart McKeown.

The emotional vocals of Shelley Harland and the amazing samples from Pole Folder gave the remixers a lot to work with and the result is a very diverse remix EP. Support comes in from Nick Warren for Francesco Pico's remix of "Radio 101".
