Polyphonic Spree Sign To TVT Records
Dallas symphonic pop group The Polyphonic Spree, also known for their love of loose-fitting garb, have signed with TVT Records for their third full-length album, The Fragile Army.
Slated for a June release, the new record will be infused with the group's trademark choir rock melodies and messages of love, life, loss and peace.The new album was recorded at studios in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, and Duncanville, Texas Co-produced by The Paper Chase's John Congleton and The Speekers.
Following up with 2004's We're Heavy, the group's new album has inspired a custome change for the former white-robe enthusiasts. The two-dozen members group members have swapped their cult-like attire in favor of military-style uniforms adorned with peace signs to compliment their new album's anti-war message.
