Universal Music Publishing Group has announced its new senior executive team to lead its European operations.
The company has been forced to reorganize because of its successful acquisition of BMG Music Publishing and its assets. The new team was named Monday by David Renzer, chairman and CEO of UMPG, and Paul Connolly, president of Europe/U.K. for UMPG.
The team includes Simon Baker, VP finance and operations Universal Music Publishing Europe; Jean-Philippe Allard, managing director, France; Markus Wenzel, managing director, Germany; Claudio Buja, managing director, Italy; Martin Ingestrom, managing director/VP, Nordic countries; Carmen Lopez, managing director, Spain and Portugal/VP creative, Latin region; Frank Bruens, managing director, Benelux; Rainer Bischof, managing director, Austria, Switzerland, and Koch Music Publishing; Antal Boronkay, managing director, Hungary; and Dominika Novakova, general manager, Czech Republic.
Each of the promoted executives will report to Connolly.
