After a small hiatus, The Magnetic Fields, via lead singer Stephin Merritt's website, have announced details towards an upcoming new album and tour.
The new album, Distortion will be unleashed January 15 courtesy o f Nonesuch Records. In support of Distortion, the band have also planned a short North American jaunt in February.
