The 9th annual Yoshitoshi Party at Space on Saturday was incredible, thanks to all of you that came out. Sharam, in an epic five hour set, tore up the Main Room and was followed by Behrouz. Miss Nine and D-Formation held down the Loft and had the place shaking for Sultan who absolutely brought the roof down. Cedric Gervais laid down a monster set in the Main Room and then jumped to the Terrace and got the floor moving before handing it off to Pete Tong. Nic Fanciulli tag-teamed with Sharam on the Terrace to make for an unbelievable set.
True to form, the Yoshitoshi Party at
Space was legendary !!!
and the energy was phenomenal as the sun rose and we closed the party in the rain at 3 PM on Sunday!
Thanks to everyone who was a part of this year's party. It was great seeing all of you out!
We've already started thinking about next year's party, which is guaranteed to be bigger and better, so if you didn’t make it last week, we hope to see you next March in Miami!
Yoshitoshi Bombs!!!
Click on these links to check out a preview of "Asteroidz" and "Cubes" on YouTube!
Yoshitoshi has some heavy artillery in our arsenal of upcoming releases. The upcoming Sultan & Ned Shepard remix of DBN’s track “Asteroidz” was spreading like a fever throughout Miami, with full support from some big names.
Just ask Sander K who played it throughout conference… Expect to hear “Asteroidz”, with a dirty techno remix from D-Unity and a thumping Sharam mix, heading your way early summer.
Bringing their unique flavor to Yoshitoshi, Pig & Dan hit us with an EP that displays their inimitable sound.
This two-track package, entitled "The Heat EP"
(9/10 from 365mag), traverses between techno, tech-house, electro and progressive.
Chus & Ceballos tell us "Cubes! What a trip!
Full support for the Mallorca boys!" and Steve Smith of Dirty Vegas
"Heat is blazing!"
Pig & Dan's next beast, "The Heat EP", is guaranteed to be a valuable dancefloor weapon this Spring.
Unleashed this April!!!
While we were out and about, we heard a ton of Yoshitoshi support at the parties! “Amazzonia”, spun by Dubfire and Erick Morillo, was easily one of the favorites of WMC. At Karu and Y, Funkagenda threw down a fresh take on Dean Coleman's “I Want You”, and at the Yoshi party, Chus & Ceballos had the crowd jumping when they dropped the track.
If you missed these WMC bombs, head over to Beatport and check them out!
