When fellow countryman Till Brönner, a trumpet player and producer "suffering" from the South African World Cup fever, asked them to contribute an exclusive remix for the double CD compilation "Hugh! - The Best Of Hugh Masekela", the Jazzanova folks were thrilled.
They chose to rework "Stimela", a classic tune the great South African trumpet master Masekela had recorded in 1974 with Joe Sample and Stix Hooper (members of the jazz funk band The Crusaders) for his album "I Am Not Afraid"
