LIVE FROM SOHO EP

Linkin Park's "Live from SoHo" EP will be available for purchase on iTunes starting March 4th!

LP's "Live from SoHo" EP was recorded live from their exclusive performance at the Apple Store in SoHo on February 20.

Linkin Park performed their new single "Given Up" live on the EP, as well as a never-before-released version of "My December." Other tracks on the live EP include "Shadow of the Day," "Bleed It Out," "Wake," and "In Pieces."

Media partners create Fuse-AEG

The companies that own concert promoter AEG Live, Ticketmaster and Madison Square Garden are in the process of creating an entertainment concern that will be called Fuse-AEG.

Deal, which was being worked out over the past three weeks, was expected to be completed this week. One insider said it is ultimately about AEG bringing in new partners and firming up its alliance with Ticketmaster.

AEG Live will own 51% of the company, MSG parent Cablevision will have 34% and Barry Diller's IAC will have 15%. There was no definite word on how the company will be structured or what changes will be made.

Late Night With Conan O'Brien

Black Mountain's eponymous debut, "a modern heavy psych masterpiece," according to Mojo magazine, came out almost three years ago.

In the subsequent years the band has grown in scope and scale, refining their sound while blowing it out to massive heights. So it's no surprise that the word on the new album "In the Future" from the UK and US press has been glowing.

Swedish electro chef John Dahlbäck cooks up another album Winners and Fools this March.

Dahlback's still in his early twenties, but he's had more releases than girlfriends with a singles discography edging ever closer to the hundred mark by the week.

Winners and Fools is his fifth album after full-lengthers on Kompakt, Systematic, Pickadoll and Little Angel. The album will be released on CD and as a double vinyl pack.

The 15th Sonar festival, to be held this year on the 19th, 20th and 21st of June, has two main themes as the basis for its programme - the "female factor" in today's music and "hybridism" as the result of the intersection of musical genres and subgenres.

Women have pride of place on the bill. Unquestionable divas of modern pop like Goldfrapp and Roísín Murphy provide a contrast to the confrontational and multicultural glamour of M.I.A. or the vocal alchemy of Camille, the new muse of the "chanson française”.

Key figures that are impossible to label, such as Justice,Yelle, Diplo, Spank Rock and Boys Noize give this year's programme an injection of hybrid energy and a proud display of the spirit of 'Do It Yourself’.

A place for encounters and reencounters. Two short-lived but legendary duos will be reunited at Sonar - Yazoo, synthesiser pop legends, and Mike Banks and Jeff Mills, the genesis of Underground Resistance.

On a contemporary note, Jamie Cullum and his brother Ben Cullum join forces with the former member of Underworld Darren Emerson to create BC vs JC featuring Darren Emerson.

The collaborators and protegées of Kanye West, A-Trak and Kid Sister, combine decks and rhymes with the new phenomenon DJ Mehdi.

Simon Fisher Turner, a long-standing collaborator with Derek Jarman, created the musical score for some of his most celebrated films.

"For Blue" is a new reworking of Blue's soundtrack presented live in the Serpentine Gallery, with special guest narrator, Black Sifichi.

Simon Fisher Turner's musical work is part of the Serpentine Gallery's exhibition dedicated to Derek Jarman that runs from 23rd February until 13th April, featuring rarely seen films from the director's Super-8 archive, an installation of his film Blue (1993), as well as a selection of his paintings.
