Who is Dresden and Johnston?

Dave Dresden is the co founder of the influential dance music acts Gabriel & Dresden and Motorcycle, remixer for acts like Jewel and The Killers, and the co-author of the dance floor hits "As The Rush Comes", and "Tracking Treasure Down".

Mikael Johnston is the founding member of the influential San Francisco breaks and electro house act and Warner Bros. Alumni "Mephisto Odyssey". After the success of his ‘Go Deep EP’ which put him firmly in the Global dance scene spotlight. Leaders of the New School would like to celebrate its 25th release, with the ever impressive Chris Special turning in a tasty two tracker that will keep all you party animals warm as the nights draw in.

Chris’s sound is evolving and maturing nicely; lead track ‘Knights of Africa’ is a vivacious, bouncy tech-house belter that swings out of the speakers and compels every clubber to get into its groove! With a rolling bass line, lots of percussion hits and crowd noises a plenty, this track gets you locked in from the start.

2nd track ‘Liberada’ is a deeper affair fusing elements of deep house with tech house rhythms featuring rippling, organic drums and percussion shimmering under a buoyant riff, building the pace and intensity with a Shlomi Aber style synth hit. This is a gorgeous, hypnotic piece of music and a real treat for discerning dancefloors.

The first remix it's from Aim aka Orson (Dialtone, MX) he delivers a minimal techno sweetness. Next is Andrew Duke (Pertin_nce, CAN) with a deep hypnothic interpretation of this great track. CJ Tari (Stranamente, MX) is back with his new sound, twisted deep melancholic house. Damian Uzabiaga (Documenti Sonori, MX) shares with us a deep sexy and emotional remix.
