NEWSSOURCEDOTCOM:ARTIST: RYAN DAN
LABEL:Universal Music Major Label
/UCJ Records

RyanDan have had another busy few weeks in the run up to this month's album and single releases with appearances on television and radio and more gigs in between. They appeared on the Heaven And Earth show on BBC1 for an interview and performance of Tears Of An Angel and had a more light-hearted chat and showed the video of Like The Sun on That Anthony Cotton Show. Ryan and Dan also appeared on Channel 5's Doctor Doctor in a programme focussing on brain tumours and discussed their work with Brain Tumour UK. Last week the guys also appeared briefly on Channel 4 news and SKY News to pay tribute to the late great Pavarotti and talked about what his music meant to them. The guys continued their whirlwind tour of regional radio stations all over the country doing interviews and performances to promote the release of the single Like The Sun and the album RyanDan.

In-between all of this they managed to squeeze in performances on the final dates of Katherine Jenkins' summer tour and a gig in Blackpool for BBC Radio 2 alongside Natalie Imbruglia, McFly and Natasha Bedingfield. You can read more about these performances in Ryan and Dan's blog

The album was produced by Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue’s long-term musical collaborator), mixed by Ren Swan (Il Divo / KT Tunstall) and recorded in a private London recording studio owned by Grammy winning songwriter Terry Britten (Tina Turner's “What's Love Got To Do With It”). With a vintage Neve sound console once used by Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, and a microphone used by Frank Sinatra, the album combines Pro Tools technology and vintage recording equipment to beautifully create the rich orchestra accompaniment required for RyanDan's unique voices.
