Band: Cut CopyThere’s a lot going on in the Cut Copy world. The band have been hard at work finishing their as-yet-untitled third album (due early 2011) and will mix the much-awaited opus with Ben Allen (Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective) this coming August.
Before they do that, Cut Copy will embark on a worldwide tour playing some new tunes and old favorites to festival-goers and clubbers alike.
In celebration, a brand new song called ‘Where I’m Going’ is now available for the price of an email address. Go to their website, click the Download A New Cut Copy Song link, and you’re away. If you want it on vinyl, it will be released as a strictly limited, one-sided etched 7" in August.
The tribal pound of ‘Where I’m Going’, described by the band as "the kind of track Brian Wilson would’ve written if he took ecstasy and hung out in 60’s London instead of California," will fit perfectly in either a large field or a dark club, and Cut Copy look forward to playing it for fans across the world on the below dates.
