This week, in between hooking you guys up with the latest tracks, we caught up with both Cut Copy and the muse for the Carp's aptly-named song "Veronica Belmont", Veronica Belmont, for some Q's and A's. PopRally in conjunction with the exhibition Color Chart: Reinventing Color, 1950 to Today, helped to bring the color chart to life on the dance floor with an amazing lineup of DJs from DFA Records.

The moody electro-dub joint Freedom by CATRAT was probably one of the stand-out tunes of Best seven selections 2 (SBCD0006) and of the Best seven selections 2 sampler 12“ (SB7019).

With his amazing remix JAY HAZE demonstrates his outstanding production skills and shows his long-standing love for forward-thinking dub music.

KABUKI’s treatment is a four to the floor house affair blended with warm keyboard melodies and tight drum parts. It gives CATRAT’s Freedom a surprising and refreshing dancefloor flavour and it will surely find its place in the box and charts of many DJs and in the playlist of many house lovers.

For anyone that was lucky enough to go last night, Paul headlined an acoustic show with Steve Cradock at the Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The show was fantastic and Paul loved doing it as he really supports the charity.
