We are pleased to announce that stellastarr* will be performing this week at San Francisco's 2008 Noise Pop festival on Thursday February 28th at the Great American Music Hall, as well as at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on Wednesday February 27th.

"We've been hard at work in the studio recording our new album with our old friend Tim O'Heir".

"These couple of shows are going to be a great opportunity to road test some of the new songs".

We'll also be DJing at the San Francisco Diesel Store's Happy Hour on Friday night (located at 101 Post Street near Union Square). The party is open to the public and lasts from 5 to 9pm, our set is around 7pm so stop by and say hi.

Inspirados despuès de una presentaciòn acùstica de radio, Allison Goldfrapp y Will Gregory -El dueto electrònico Goldfrapp- cambiò su rock glam y ritmos de orientaciòn por un estilo ambient acùstico y pop sicodèlico en Seventh Tree, su cuarto àlbum producido en el estudio.

Con un marcado contraste con el àlbum anterior, el cual fue inspirado en la mùsica disco;en èste nuevo àlbum, incluye guitarras acùsticas con reminisencias folk y sonidos delicados.
