(THE BEST OF STEVE BUG 1999 - 2009), PFRDD09

Steve Bug is certainly a busy boy! For one decade this man is known as mover and shaker in the electronic music scene. While founding high reputated labels like Raw Elements, Traffic Signs (did you know it was him?), Poker Flat, Dessous and Audiomatique and so inventing a whole new genre in techno and house music he always worked hard in the studio and released 3 albums and a bunch of mix CD's like Bugnology, Fabric 37 or Fuse.

Time Flies contains his best tracks from one decade inclusive yet unreleased material, put together by Steve Bug himself. But wait, there's more!

Working hard on his next artists album which will bang in around summer a 12" will lighten up april... Good news!

OUT: 06.03.2009 (DIGITAL ONLY)

Across this 2 CD selection you‘ll find exclusive new tracks from key Poker Flat artists and some of the most influential singles from the current season. The Limited 3CD edition features some very special hidden treasures from the back catalogue, selected by Steve Bug.

RYO MURAKAMI : DELIC EP, pfd-01

Ryo Murakami is fast becoming one of Japan's freshest faces in the world of cutting edge club sounds. His work for both Poker Flat and Dessous last year have already brought him deserved recognition as bona-fide new talent. It makes sense then to announce that he be the first artist to release on the exciting new Poker Flat Digital project.

A five track E.P is on offer, full of deeply stripped and rhythmically complex late night tools, displaying some of the familiar trademarks that Ryo showed off on his earlier work for Poker Flat, and giving him room to really work the groove!

OUT: 27.02.2009

pfr102 150 15 weissBURNSKI : DRAW YOUR SWORD, pfr102

With a string of releases for highly respected labels like 2020 Vision, Trapez, Infant and Morris-Audio, Northern England's latest young knight-of-the-night Burnski turns out two super tracks for his debut on Poker Flat! Each energetic cut has a distinctly different theme and flavour, however they complement each other so well, amounting to a superbly tuned helping of straight up tech-house.

THE MAKING OF MTM & JOE HAHN'S THE SEED AT SANTA BARBARA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

For years, Santa Barbara filmmaker Mark Fiore has been working with Linkin Park to bring you exclusive video content from behind the scenes. Mark spent time in the studio with the band during the making of Minutes to Midnight and later produced a documentary capturing the experience.

For those of you in the Santa Barbara area, we recommend that you check out the Santa Barbara International Film Festival to catch this documentary, plus a screening of "Given Up" (also directed by Mark) and "The Seed" directed by Joe Hahn.

Following the screening Mark, Joe, and Phoenix, will lead a discussion about music and film!

We're very pleased to reveal that Keane's next single is Better Than This, which will be released on March 16th.

Look out on keanemusic.com for details of the formats, artwork and B-sides. But to get you in the mood, click here to watch the band performing the track on Later with Jools Holland last year.

LIVE BLOG ON SUNDAY
Following our recent live rehearsals blog , which gave you a behind-the-scenes look at preparations for the UK tour, we're heading to Nottingham Arena on Sunday for a blog from a gig. Join us at keanemusic.com for the usual access-all-areas pictures, videos, interviews and other stuff. Should be fun

NEW VIDEOS ON KM.COM
At the beginning of this week, we uploaded a couple of belting new videos to the km.com Video player.

The first is part one of a mini documentary which Tom filmed on the band's trip to LA at the end of last year. The second is Tom's latest "What do you think of?" interview, featuring Little Britain star Matt Lucas. Both are very much worth watching. Click here to check them out.

That's about it for this time. Except to say that you should click here to watch arguably the best ever cover version of a Keane song...

"Put on your skinny tie and dancing boots, Scottish punk disco dandies storm back." - Rolling Stone

"It's a reminder that now more than ever; too few bands seem interested in new (musical) beginnings. There's no marketing gimmick here. No new consumer model. Just good music. Franz Ferdinand have made a soon-to-be classic album for people who still care about the format and a set of addictive singles for people who don't. If only more bands pivoted so triumphant." - Esquire
