The End EP
RELEASE DATE:
22nd March 2010

Worldwide Release
CAT NO: LONS032

Starting the year in fine style, Toolroom wonder kid Matt Samuels drops a three track EP of epic proportions, bursting with melodic grooves and hands up crescendos ‘The End EP’ shows just why Matt is one of our finest future stars.

Support for Matt’s productions reads like a line up on the world’s greatest event flyer with Pete Tong, Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela, Sander Kleinenberg, Satoshi Tomiie & Hernan Cattaneo among avid fans who regularly play Matt’s creations on their global DJ sets & Radio shows, Mark Knight recently tipped Matt as one to watch in 2010 in his DJ Top 100 interview!

Kicking things off in reverse is ‘The End’!

"A sublime slice of uplifting progressive house oozing edginess with its techy beats and shuffling percussion" Mark Ninja Cowboy [Toolroom HQ].

Building from the start with moody chords and a killer riff ‘The End’ kicks into life with a driving groove of tight beats and tasty bass before reaching an epic breakdown that will have the most deluded of clubbers back on the dancefloor!

One Moment’ does exactly what it says on the tin! A perfectly polished feel good track that will create ‘One Moment’ on the dancefloor with its melodic yet anthemic breakdown, something to drop when the atmosphere is at its peak, just right for that special last tune of the night when the club becomes one.

Rounding off the EP ‘After Thought’ takes things a little deeper but still retaining the driving and uplifting sound that Matt has crafted himself over the years.

This three track is one of Matts finest and just shows why Mark Knight tipped him as one to watch this year!

Producer & Dj: Menno de Jong

Menno de Jong podcasts from Miami WMC

Miami Winter Music Conference 2010 is just around the corner and it’s looking to be bigger and better than ever. Jam-packed with high quality Trance & Progressive club nights and a massive line-up for Ultra Music Festival firmly establishes WMC as North America’s most important Electronic Dance Music event.

But what if you’re not going? That is of course utterly misfortunate, as you will be missing out on all the good weather, wild pool parties, ground shaking club nights and beautiful scenery of Miami. Musically seen there is a great opportunity for damage control though: Menno de Jong will be doing a series of 3 special podcasts during the week of the Winter Music Conference to bring you up to date about the biggest tracks, the hottest events and the who’s who of the DJ scene.

Special big league guests such as Carl Cox, Above & Beyond, Sander van Doorn, Gareth Emery, Sied van Riel, Jerome Isma-Ae and many more will announce and play their top tune for Miami as well as bring you up to date about their whereabouts, activities and WMC gossip.

Subscribe to Menno de Jong’s free Intuition Podcast on iTunes to make sure you get the episodes in real time, or keep an eye on mennodejong.com to download them as soon as they become available.

Catch Menno de Jong playing at the following events:

March 24th: DiP iN Pool Party (National Hotel)
March 26th: Spin Agency Showcase (Nocturnal)
March 28th: DiP OuT Rooftop Party (Hotel Victor)
