The legendary DJ pin-up is back with another edition of Involver, a new child and the same dedication to innovation. RA's Todd L. Burns investigates how Sasha so carefully mixes business and pleasure.

It was only 17 short years ago that Mixmag wondered aloud whether Sasha, AKA Alexander Coe, was the first DJ pin-up. The subtext, of course, was that Sasha was the first superstar DJ-the one that could finally become a face for a faceless occupation. The man who could make this whole thing legitimate. The man who could make pleasure a business.

Since then, Sasha has done just that: Other superstar DJs have come and gone, fresher faces have since taken on the pin-up role and progressive house has risen and fallen, but Sasha remains at the forefront of the business of pleasure.
