newssourcedotcom:news:group:MOGWAILoud Scotsmen Mogwai have confirmed that they will be contributing to a new Pixies tribute album, titled Dig For Fire: A Pixies Tribute covering the “Gouge Away” from Doolittle. Other artists appearing include J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr., OkGo, The Rosebuds, British Sea Power and They Might Be Giants. The album is due to be released on November 13th by American Laundromat Records.
A previous compilation Where Is My Mind: A Tribute To The Pixies released in 1999, featured Nada Surf, Weezer, Samiam and The Promise Ring.
