There's really no such thing as downtime in Chan Marshall's universe, and while her summer and autumn have been consumed with terrific shows around the globe alongside the Dirty Delta Blues (including a Madison Square Garden gig supporting Interpol earlier this month), the big news around 304 Hudson is that we're getting ready for 'Covers II', a Cat Power & The Dirty Delta Blues CD/LP of still-to-be-determined length, for an early 2008 release.

We'd love to leak the cover art and track listing, but the former was just changed and perhaps the latter will as well. But sometime before the end of the next batch of Cat Power shows, we should have it all figured out:
