Web+Media: WE LOVE [RADIO]

We can absolutely assure you that this week, the Sunset Terrace is going to be 100 per cent party central (no different to every other week we hear you shout) with the return of the smiley-faced Colin Peters, the newly shorn Jason Bye (was the haircut because we made fun of his sweat bands?) and the always-a-gentleman Alfredo plus a v-e-r-y special appearance by the legendary Liverpudlian Yousef, making his long-awaited debut behind the revered terrace decks.

Just above them, the Red Box mayhem continues at the hands of the Chew The Fat! crew – this week sees Jem Haynes, Foamo, Smut, Andy C and James Furness squeeze behind the booth (though we suspect they won’t all fit at the same time). For a sneak listen of what’s to come, be sure to download the mix from James below…

Outside on the Premier Etage, we’ve managed to get Ben Korbel, Jonathan Grey and Scott Martin off the beach and into the booth with the promise of free booze and sunset views – and that particular DJ booth is the best seat in the house come 9pm. Down in El Salon, the musical madness continues with funksters Mr Doris and Mo Nunez doing what they do best… get in there to see what that is for yourself.

Cross over into the Space Terraza Arena and it’s going to be a battle to see who can beat their previous sets – every one of the contenders have whipped the room in a frenzy this year… we’re tipping at this point of the season, things can only heat up even more. Hold onto your hats as the mighty Layo & Bushwacka! step up once again, alongside Felix and Al of Hot Chip fame plus residents Alex Wolfenden (who we suspect hasn’t slept since last weekend), Steve LawlerPaul Woolford, who lived to tell the tale of a white-knuckled trip to the highest mountain in Ibiza in the name of our TV special last week… and

Meanwhile, in the anything-but-mild-mannered Discoteca, we’re in for a treat with a special one-off live set from Abe Duque, an education in dance music courtesy of DJ Pierre, alongside rocking performances by Ewan Pearson, David Phillips and a grand finale by the man who we think OWNS the dance floor after 4am…. The one and only Felix Da Housecat! Have you got what it takes to last the distance?

Yep, we’ll see you as the sun’s coming up…
