#MC'S #RAPPERS: LIL HYPE (USA)

North Carolina is the birthplace of many talented and major Hip-Hop acts, including Roc Nation rapper J. Cole, So So Def founder Jermaine Dupri, former Death Row Records signee Petey Pablo, beatsmith 9th Wonder and his group Little Brother, and many more.

Next in line to breakthrough from the North Cak is an aspiring and much sought after rhymespitter by the name of Lil Hype (born Daronta Lee), who is already rocking the underground circuit for more than a decade in the South Atlantic States.

Being featured in major media outlets such as AllHipHop.com, YoRaps.com, ThisIs50.com, and Hip-Hop Nation (Sirius XM Radio), Lil Hype is no newbie to the oversaturated Hip-Hop circuit.

Lil Hype already collaborated on tracks with established Hip-Hop acts such as Strange Music leader Tech N9ne, Playaz Circle member 2 Chainz (formerly Tity Boy), Cashville rapper Young Buck, and Atlantic Records signee Alley Boy.

Known for his blazing and street certified mixtapes like “Hood Star” (hosted by DJ Chuck T), “Trappin’ While I’m Rappin’”, and “Da Streets Callin’ Me”, Lil Hype is heavily affected by the streets that raised him.

Influenced by southern rappers Hot Boys, 8Ball & MJG, and UGK, Lil Hype follows in a lane that was paved by these artists.

'Lil Hype is a true product of his environment — born in the streets, life in the streets. What you see is what you get when listening to my music — no fake stuff and phoniness!' explained the aspiring and much talented emcee.
